On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the Northwestern Israel Innovation Project hosted a live webinar on "A Year After October 7", featuring David Horovitz, founding editor, The Times of Israel and Hussein Ibish, Senior Resident Scholar at the Arab Gulf States Institute, Washington, D.C. Our speakers discussed the impact of the October 7 attack and the ensuing war on Israeli society and security, how the relationship between Israelis and Palestinians has changed, and the regional ramifications and global consequences of this tragic conflict.

The Northwestern Center for Water Research and the Israel Innovation Project hosted the "Water Innovation for Wet and Dry Lands: Between the Great Lakes and the Middle East" event on May 8 & 9 as part of the 2024 Chicago Water Week.
